Preorder postponed to February 2026.

Due to sad news of global shipping suspensions to America, and the US customs returning packages to senders instead of letting them through, I have decided to postpone the Inamorata doll preorder that was supposed to start on 14th of September. With 80% of my customer base being in the States, I just don’t think I can fulfil the minimum order of 30 dolls set by my caster. I cannot really accept your deposits without knowing if the doll can reach you. I am hoping that the overwhelmed American customs warehouses will have time to sort out things by then, or that at least we will understand the situation better in February 2026. I will be contacting everyone with a doll in the current OOAK queue privately. 

I am really sorry to postpone the casting. I know everyone was really looking forward to it. I too was excited to paint the new and revised head sculptures, and was already in the process of brainstorming for ideas for new OOAK doll commissions. I’ve seen three EU doll artists announce they quit since the news came out on Saturday. It is depressing, but I don’t plan to give up just yet. I still have some dolls I reserved for ready-for-sale full set dolls I planned to make, and I can survive for a time by making fashions, shoes and wigs if I run out of dolls. I know that my soul withers and dies if I am not able to do creative work, so I’m not eager to seek a new career. I hope to withstand the storm and hope that it passes. 

My heart goes out to all my friends in America. Dolls bring us joy, but the shipping ban might affect much more crucial resources such as medicines and food. It is scary to watch the unrest. Please be safe! Let’s try to generate some moments of happiness by staying in touch and posting photos of our dolls. Community is important at times of hardship! And to my friends all over the world: I ask you to please continue supporting my art, and other small businesses that suffer from this chaos. I am trying to find new markets in the EU and the rest of the world, so if you could  recommend my work to your friends, it could mean the world to me.
